This cannot happen. We cannot bus our children an hour in the mornings on an overcrowded bus to a school so far away when our MS is 1 mile away! So many reasons to not do this to our kids!

We love the school we are in and we love participating with our kids in school activities. Having to drive and hour plus will make our family participation non existent!! It's detrimental not just to the staff of those schools, but the kids, parents, and tax payers!! Stop this, please.

Keep my kids close to the neighborhood I built a new house in, let the outsiders travel to the new schools, one of the main reasons I bought the house was based on the schools they would be attending and their proximity. I have 5 kids in the still in LCPS system, don't let me down!

We have had so many negative changes to our area, please spare us this one. Examples: Northstar Blvd, power lines, new fire station, new HS9, etc.

I oppose Option 3 as there is no need for my children to sit on a bus for 1+ hrs each way to go to school when there are 3 schools closer to use

I don't want my kids to have to go to a different school especially that far from home. Our kids are currently considered to be in walking distance of the schools while many students are not. There are kids that live in the Dulles Landing area that currently go to Mercer and John Champe High School. I believe it makes more sense for the kids that are further out to attend the Stone Hill and Rock Ridge High School. Of our kids are walking distance then that's the school they need to be enrolled in.

School borders should be continuous. There should never be “pockets” of Ashburn students in the middle of the Blue Ridge district, many miles south. Just say no to Option 3.

No to option 3. Rezoning of school boundaries is a necessity in a growing community, we understand this. Distance and continuity must be factored when doing this. Option 3 ignores both of those requirements. Please hear the words of your community when making this decision and do the right thing. Keep the kids in schools closest to their homes. Aquire the funds necessary to do what is best for these children and the parents whose tax dollars go towards these budgets.

Do not make VA Manor go to Ashburn schools. We will be unable to sell our home, too long on the bus and no time for homework with after school activities.

Please don't rezone schools for our kids. It is essential that we have it around for convinience and affordability. For working parents, it is difficult to manage if schools are far away to our communities.
