We work for the Foreign Service. Virginia Manor is our home and, while we are required to leave the USA for a few years at a time, we all have the comfort of knowing that our children will return home and be reunited with their classmates/friends. This would end that!
Please keep us in our currently-designated schools!

I oppose Option #3 which proposed bussing our KPF kids to schools in Ashburn outside of our local community schools. The cost of busing will be outrageous; it will require more time away from family; after school sports programs are local and commute will be atrocious adding to existing traffic congestion; this KPF community has been established for over ten years; a newer community that allowed for poor planning should bus; and we need diversity in the new MS7 school, not all affluent white students from Willow's Ford making up the population.

This an completely illogical proposal.
Time and safety are just a couple of the issues with this proposal. There are several other neighborhoods closer to Stone Hill MS that could be rezoned and assigned to this school.

Doesn't make sense to bus these kids across the county during rush hour. Time and safety are just a couple of the issues with this proposal. There are several other neighborhoods closer to Stone Hill MS that could be rezoned and assigned to this school. Do not displace the Kirkpatrick Farms and Virginia Manor communities because it is the easiest thing for the County to do.
