The only possible reason to sell is to provide golden parachutes or other monetary benefits to people pushing the sale, while the community suffers higher prices and reduced service. DON'T SELL!

The only possible reason to sell the hospital is personal benefit to parties who will receive golden parachutes or other monetary benefits, while the members of the community suffer higher prices and poorer service. DON'T SELL!!!

NHRM is a tremendous asset for ILM and SE NC. If a private sale results in diminished care or service then the cost to repurchase would likely be unaffordable. Better to keep investing in continuous improvements.

We have a first class hospital now where quality doctors and nurses want to work and people receive excellent care. Why does that need fixing!!!!!! There is no need to change what is working well.

If the county commissioners proceed with this sale, after an opaque and one-sided "process," it will be a betrayal of the public trust, and specifically of the county's voters' decision to create a public hospital for themselves and for their children.

The hospital needs to be a public and nonprofit. Selling to a corporation is selling our county.
