UNC is not at the table and there is no proof beyond vapid hearsay by NOVANT and NHRMC PAG of UNC Partnership with our hospital. The entire process has been misleading and fraught with bad attitude of "leadership" disregarding the Public Trust.

I see no feasible long term advantage to the sale. Short term it reeks of dishonesty and short sighted financial advantages. The smell test and the secrecy are bothersome

I won’t use Novant in Brunswick County. Too many bad experiences there inpatient and ER. God help us if they provide the same service at NHRMC. I love NHRMC just as it is. Please don’t sell it. please.

This is the worst time to sell our hospital. Wait until the pandemic is over to procede. The sale should be contingent upon the county having a detailed and transparent plan for how the procedes will be used.

Things are moving too fast. Pender County has had no townhalls or information on the Process or sale. David Williams needs to inform.

Please slow down the process to see if this is a good decision. Once it is done, it is done. Pender County residents should have more of a voice in this process.

The hospital is thriving and making money...
They are constantly opening new offices and building new buildings...
So why sell when it is thriving and doing well, unless these on the board are getting a paid position to sell us out.
The hospital was built with a voter referendum , and this board needs to let the ones who paid for the hospital vote on any potential sale..

Strongly oppose the sale of NHrMC or “partnership” or other veiled term. Built on the backs of generations of locals, the worth of this organization to the community will be degraded if sold. A return on investment will be required and will be taken out of this community. No money given to politicians for vague, undefined community improvements can make this transaction worthwhile. Perhaps new leadership with a strong commitment to local success can allow NHRMC to become a regional powerhouse instead of cowardly surrendering to fear.

I support no sale. However, Should the process be successful a Plan to maintain Citizen Overview should be in place. As a semi-retired Quality Professional with experience in planning the types of Overview functions, I offer a Proposed Independent Review System to periodically review, audit and evaluate the adequacy of the Administrative and Financial status of the Operation of NHRMC.

It's the greatest thing Wilmington has going for it. People move here because of great medical services the hospital provides!

We saw how NHRMC ignored repeated pleas and the 416 signers of the petition when you bought the Wilmington Athletic Club and bulldozed it -- NHRMC leadership has demonstrated a callous disregard for the health of members of the community.
We're in the middle of a pandemic. What's the rush to sell right now?
I say NO SALE until and unless we know more and have a county vote.

It's wrong for only a few people to be able to sell our-hospital that was paid for with our money. It should be put to by a vote. Don't sell NEW HANOVER REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER.
seen this before this should be voted on.
