Back to the drawing board for AI…. Make it fun, make it grow people and musicians, not take advantage of hard earned music credit…

Keep immoral song-generating AI out of Berklee classrooms! Keep the joy and wonderful struggle of song-writing alive in one of the U.S.’s top music programs.

Former Berklee graduate and now a music professor at a top music college. This is shameful.

As a music major, AI is not an essential skill for a musician, it is at most, a tool. However, this tool cannot currently be used properly, and not to the benefit of the public. Thus, AI music has no place in higher education for now and the foreseeable future.

As a former student of Berklee Online I find the AI course demeaning and insulting to the premise of a music education, and it devalues everything that Berklee should stand for in the music creation community

You go to school to run a life changing, multi year marathon. You don't school to ask for an Uber and make the 26 miles 30 minutes. This is a total travesty and a sign that this institution is rotten. Please make this right.
