No Funding for Blake Lane Park Destruction - Transfer Land to FCPA!

No to building in Blake park!

Once a park, always a park. Proceeding with unnecessary construction on scarce green space does not advance One Fairfax.

There are 48 less kids at Oakton Elementary this year. Traffic is going to be awful especially when school lets out. It's already horrible on Blake Lane that time of the day. Save the park, we need this green space and our soccer fields.

Blake Lane Park is essential green space for Oakton and must be preserved as such for all current and future residents in our area.

Fairfax County Citizens in this part of the county have no other park for recreation. This park is within walking distance of many homes in the area. There are other sites for the elementary School -- there are not other sites for a park in this region.

We need green space for the nearby residents and for the other County residents. We are losing too much green space!

Please remove Blake Lane Park from site consideration to build the Oakton/Fairfax school. Your constituents need your advocacy and representation more than ever! Please help us keep our only park.

If you are worried about climate change, I just can't see destruction of Blake Lane Park as way to help that situation. Seems rather oxymoronic.

Here at Blake Lane Park we desperately need this open space to remain free of the construction of a school, which will lead to an increase in traffic congestion in this area. We need to keep this open space because with creeping development there is woefully little of it left, and open space contributes greatly to the quality of life in this area.

My kids love playing baseball, football and soccer in the park. They need a safe place to do this ans have the freedom to go anytime to do so without me having to drive them somewhere to do so. It’s better for the environment and creates for a more beautiful place to live.

Please don't destroy our green space

Do we have to destroy every tiny piece of land in Fairfax County? There's a school right down the road, Oakton Elementary.

Please let us have our neighborhood park. It is beneficial for my family and my countless other neighbors.

There are plenty of other places to build schools in Oakton. Don't take away the greenspace that people enjoy!
