Fee increases would affect my financial stability to pay for school. Please leave the fees as they are, we don't need them.

The tuition does not need to be increased with the fact given that students can barely get by.

This fee increase would hurt us all and the students should always be put first!

College is a full time job if one takes their academics seriously and they wish to become successful. Many students (including myself) work part time and full time jobs just to pay tuition. This leaves very little for basic necesseities and paying bills on time and in full. Luckily for me, scholarships and my parents have been helping me pay for a better future. I cannot even imagine how I could go through school without them. Education should be a right and not a priveledge for the upper class, which if tuition is raised, will be even farther from reality.

You people already know that regardless of how much you charge and tax, you will have students applying to Chico every year. I get that, but it appears that every single year up to this point there is some new "fee" that comes out of the blue and would help funding "soooo much" in other places. I know this money is going somewhere besides lining faculty pockets but don't charge the students more. Half of them are party animals living off mommy and daddys money but the other half have debt and loans and you are essentially taking years off their lives because the more they owe the longer they have to rent a crappy apartment working a job that may or may not be a dead-end even though they have their degree. I won't waste my own time going further into this issue. If president hutchinson or her cabinet were to step into a student's shoes for a week, she would be looking to lower fees anywhere she could for us.
