So, Mark Zuckerberg believes Face Book is for “real” people with real friends and family....really? Of course some people just use FB just to interact with family and friends, but do they really need it? “Real” people have phones, email, voices. “Real” people only interact with a few friends and family. They are not Face Book. The reality of FB is that it is used by hundreds of thousands of people as a support network; groups of like minded people, people playing the same games, people going through similar life problems, some with too much anxiety to interact directly with others so they use it as their only social outlet. I wonder how many people have lost their support network because of FB shutting down their pages because they aren't using their real names...how many people have actually become isolated and even gone to the point of suicide...if even one person has been found by a stalker, or abuser and attacked or killed, or if one fragile individual has committed suicide because of this "real" name on the page policy...then it counteracts any of the charity or PR of Mark Zuckerberg. And he is responsible. But, does he or FB care? And this could all be solved by allowing people to verify their true legal identities, but keeping only their pseudonyms on their pages. If there is abuse it can be reported and FB would have the info to take care of it...but there should be no reporting of “fake names”. Other abuse could be reported and dealt with... I am one of the “real” people using a “real” name…I don't need Face Book... I will be closing my account Randy Davis Oh, wait, Randolph A. Davis, I wouldn't want to be accused of using a fake name...
