very good argument, and even better idea to solve it. It truly wouldn't be fair for us to lose spots in our programs due to a bad exam mark and have someone who had more time off, and didn't have to write an exam take our place

I personally think this is a tear idea! Upon the 700,000 students that attend high school to this day I can assure you that 100,000 of them (ones with a 90 and above average) don't have to do the exam. But the other 600,000? Why do they have to? I find that very unfair. Also, why should a student that has a 70% which is a good grade to a lot drop to a 50% coming into the exam? Anyways I'll cut to the chase and say I believe this would be a great idea for Ontario to cut the exam from the curriculum!

As controversial as the topic may be i agree that making some kids take exams while others get by without it at fault of the teachers, its not fair that the rest of us can still have our marks go down dramatically from an exam and they get by free
