I totally agree, it is outrageous, if I have an 80% average and that is what I need to get into a program at university, the exam is added stress to lose the 80% and not get into the program over a stupid test!

I support this petition and agree how a student getting bad on one exam doesn't get to go but the student who didn't have to take an exam gets in that's completely unfair I think equality is important an if some students don't have exams then why not let all high school students not have exams but give people the option so those who think they need the help can take it and those who don't dont take it I think that's fair for some people cause I know some need exams others don't so let us have the choice and freedom instead

As a mom of a special needs learner, this puts unneeded stress on him to study (which he still needs help with at the age of 15). I believe teachers can get a good idea of how well a child understands what is being taught by having smaller tests throughout the semester as opposed to assignments followed by a huge test at the end that is worth 30% or more of the final grade. If a child is sick at this time or is dealing with something else, their whole grade can be affected by this ONE exam.
