25 years without parole should mean 25 years without parole ..PERIOD! Karissa doesn`t get to go to church or anything, why should she. Give her a Bible and let her start reading...IN JAIL..where she needs to stay.

Having known the people involved, and the trauma suffered by the immediate family as well as the poor child that found her, Penny does not deserve any allowances or leniency. She awakes each day, and lives her life. Her daughter will never have that. Keep her confined.
