This is not a good move by Whatsapp. Declining the support on a OS - means they are not bothered about the BB users.

I used a BlackBerry phone with OS10 daily for Whatsapp-ing with colleagues and friends. Despite having an Android Phone (Samsung GS7) I found I reach for my BlackBerry more because of its speed, reliability (it never lag! I have been using my Q10 for 3+ years!) and physical keyboard. Please don't cut off OS10, some people out there are loving it.

Until another smart phone has a physical keyboard this app must be supported by blackberry. I feel let down by my mobile phone provider for not telling me this information and this will cause detriment to my career.

Whatsapp is forcing people to purchase a new phone just to be able to run the app. This is not a very good customer relations move especially since it would cost nothing to allow the service to continue without updates.

I use my phone for business and I love the BlackBerry Passport with it size for docs and the keyboard to work on whatever I need... whatsaspp is essential since my clients use it for communications, I don't want to side load the android version, hopefully some dev team will reverse engineer the app and bring it back to native.

Mr Mark, I have enormous respect for what you are and what you have become, I know charity needs a Bigger Person, we ain't asking for charity. You might be surprised but there are a quite a few bunch of BlackBerry users who just cannot move beyond BlackBerry OS so please keep things where they are, we are very happy with WhatsApp Messenger and that is the only way we the BlackBerry user can happily live keeping in touch with people who matter to us and I believe that was the main intend why WhatsApp was created in the first place.

I would pay for WhatsApp on BB, why not? It's a worth app, I nedd it and I cann't and I do not want to "upgrade" to Android.

Why would whatsapp want to do that? Although i agree that BB OS user base is not that significant compared to android and ios, but if other smaller apps can support, why cant Whatsapp? BB is my daily driver. And i cant afford to not have whatsapp on it.

I can't believe whatsapp team is doing this to us; BlackBerry users in fact this is unacceptable, selfish and wickedness to the extent. I have never imagined me using an android phone or iphone in my life and now this? Seriously whatsapp team you have to find a way to allow whatsapp continue supporting BlackBerry 10. Please don't ask BlackBerry users to choose between BlackBerry and whatsapp
