I have just bought my Blackberry Passport Silver Edition few Months ago, so the news really shocked me. I am very disappointed with that. They can allow BB users to continue using WA without updates.

I used whatapp since my iPhone 3g, then on my blackberry z10 and z30. I am sticking to my Blackberry as its a business phone, the iPhone is a play toy and android is insecure open source to the hackers. Security is important to me.
WhatsApp could of been blocked from blackberries AppWorld long time ago for trying to compete with BBM, and it could of been the death of whatsapp, but BlackBerry played fair. Now Zucker is mad BBM is available for every platform, so he wants to try to kill off BlackBerry by trying to shift its userbase to a different os or phone. he should be sued ! No company should abuse their power like that to control the market. We need fair competition, and App neutrality.

I will not change phones in order to accommodate whatsapp...I will change the app I use rather than give up my BB.

Let people decide the ecosystem they want. Forcing them to change is not the solution to keep people to your service

I use blackberry os to avoid the malware ridden android world, and avoid the high cost of an iPhone contract. I believe your company should support competition within the phone operating system world. This will ultimately give better platforms to build your app on, as well as give consumers better products.

it is not fair and acceptable that Whatsapp decided to discontinue supporting Blackberry or BB 10 for that matter. Please reconsider since many of us consider blackberry features necessary for their lives.
