The message telling Blackberry owners to buy a new phone is insulting and rude.
If Blackberry owners are happy to miss out on some fancy new coffee-making features in order to keep messaging, why can't WhatsApp allow that?

Blackberry users might be a bit old-fashioned, but at least we don't follow every new hype blindly,
I know many influential folks that use blackberry as a statement and a 'way of life'. Among them are many journalists, CEOs, writers and deciders. Whatsapp is losing a small but important peer-group, when disconnecting!
Luckily there are alternatives like telegram on the market now. (Use 'Snap' to install telegram via playstore on your blackberry. - DON'T update your Blackberry to 10.3.3, since 'Snap' doesn't work with OS 10.3.3)
Whatsapp will lose an influential peer-group to the uprising competitor telegram due to an arrogant update policy.
@Whatsapp: if you disconnect me, I'll disconnect you and will encourage my friends to proceed further the telegram.

Used whatsapp on my blackberry to speak to my mom on whatsapp because she lives in Jamaica, I haven't seen my mom in 8 years and could only communicate via whatsapp now you've taken this away from me I have no other way of speaking to her.. please bring this back

I buy my BB Z10 few weeks ago and I love my phone, but I love WhatsApp as well, because it's just my contact with my family, so for me is a terrible decision
