No Encampments in Seattle Parks

This breaks my heart how this has been allowed to go on for so long and families cannot enjoy many parks in Seattle any more.

We have lived near Carkeet park for 2 decades now. The condition of filth and encampment in the park has become intolerable - please enforce the law and not allow our treasured sanctuaries to become cess pools

stop the insanity. I pay taxes for the parks but am afraid to go in them. enforce no camping!!!!!!

I live near Woodkand Park and walk my dog there daily. It’s disheartening to see the damage to habitat and the trash piled up around illegal camps in the park. Walking the trails through wooded sections of the park I see wads of soiled toilet paper and human excrement here and there under the trees. And there are restrooms in the park! I realize that this is part of the larger homelessness issue Seattle is trying to solve. But I encourage the city to enforce the law against camping in our parks!

This camping is ridiculous. Also please enforce (or make) laws prohibiting it in any public area, and make clearing such camps or RVs from private property easier at owner's or neighbor's request.

Find a solution to help these people and this city.

Health and Safety should be the number one Priorities - Please enforce the laws.

Not only to homeless encampments destroy our parks, they spread disease such as Hepatitis A. We need to remove the encampments immediately.

I walk Greenlake at 6:30. The encampments are growing. Worse than last year by far at the lakefrontxa

I did not spend $30K in legal fees to close the OLA in Volunteer Park to allow illegal camping. I NEVER use the parks now

Please enforce all laws equally and help keep our city safe and sane with this growing epidemic.

Please enforce our laws so us law abiding citizens can enjoy our public places without fear of all the ills that accompany illegal camping.

I am concerned that our city leaders do not value the residents who pay taxes so that their families can enjoy the parks! The parks are now a place to be find discarded needles instead of left behind toys. They are now a place to see tents and garbage rather than a family picnicking. This has to stop.

Please protect our parks so all can use them safely

I am absolutely shocked that the city of Seattle is continuing to allow rampant camping in Discovery park, Ravenna Park & Greenlake. My husband & I are not able to walk & feel safe in many of the city parks. Why are you not taking action? Why are we paying property tax & sales tax ?

Parks are for everyone, and we need to keep them clean and safe.

This isn't good for the people that need homes, it's not good for wildlife, it's not good for park safety

I called the city and asked if there were any more permits available to camp @Discovery Park. They said that camping was not allowed. Umm... really?

It is time to enforce the laws and make parks safe again for Seattle tax payers and their children. Enough is enough.
