We moved to El Dorado Hills years ago. It was suppose to stay much smaller then the surrounding towns. Now there are plans for apartments to be built by Town Center along with hundreds of new homes being built. Now there are trying to force our hands once again. Most people didn’t even want a fast food restraunt to be built let alone one with a drive-thru. Is money all that matters here? Makes me wonder, why else would this be happening? Is El Dorado Hills Blvd. going to be like Bidwell? Also how will traffic move down the freeway with two exits both with fast food restraints with drive Thru’s and gas stations and Town Center with the new apartments. We won’t be able to move! What a shame!

The location is not desirable for drive thru restaurant business the original plan approved only a sit down restaurant. Keep it as originally approved. This change does not reflect smart growth of our community.

I oppose the proposal of a Chick-fil-a being built at the Saratoga Retail development because: 1. It is not part of the 2009 approved plan (which was thought out very carefully) 2. It will greatly impact traffic on Saratoga and EDH Blvd 2. Is too close to residential areas and an elementary school. 3. Based on other high traffic businesses being built close to residentials... the crime rate goes up.

Drive thrus don’t belong in residential neighborhoods. This location is at the entrance to a well established neighborhood and directly adjacent to homes and back yards. Development decisions should aim to make our neighborhoods places where more people want to live. The idea of living 200 feet from non-stop idling cars, congestion and bad air makes me want to leave.

No chick filet on Saratoga. Plenty of other locations. How many times do we have to do this it has been denied. Listen to the locals. Our traffic is a mess, put up on bass lake or next to McDonald’s not in a neiborhood

We have plenty of eateries in EDH. Please keep to the General Plan designations and get us a different retail store (a hardware store, maybe) that can serve the community. Can't stand the smell from the fried oils! Never been to a drive-thru and won't go there either.

We already have a Chick-fil-A one exit away in Folsom, how saturated do they need to make this area?! How about we strive for something a little more farm-to-fork, since we are part of the Sacramento region, and have too few of those in this area.

This is not about a Chic Fil A and even not really about the traffic. We are of course going to have traffic as our community continues to grow. But smart growth is important and why we make long range plans If developers are constantly allowed to change the plans to benefit them and some customer shoving something in an area not intended for it?

I am one of the homes that will be directly affected by this space. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW ANY drive-thru food establishments as they will encourage transient traffic and have a very negative impact on the quality of lives of my neighborhood and community.
