NO Drag Racing in a residential neighborhood!

I think this idea might be more successful away from residential and school areas. This can lead to wrecks, increase in garbage, increase in drag races when not a sanctioned event, drinking/smoking in an drug free area and more. Please think about this thourghly before starting this by a school and residential houses.

Two words. SHIFT WORKERS. Definitely won’t appreciate this in a residential neighborhood.

No drag racing - go somewhere not residential so that an "accident" does not impact this area.

No street racing in residential areas!!!! Too many people work shift work and they sleep during the day and night! Too dangerous if they lose control and go into someone’s back yard!!

You can't see the unknown effects that drag racing on this residential street could bring until its too late.

Common sense says that this is not a good idea in a residential area. I feel the mayor and city counsel should put a stop to this in city limits.

The location they are wanting to do this at is a residential area not meant for this type of activity

What about industrial drive starting at the bridge. It is about a half mile to foothill. A wide road and nothing to hit on either side incase of an accident.

City streets near schools and residential areas are not the place for this. Safety precautions such as barriers and other consideration need to be made making public streets such as this not appropriate for drag racing.

We’ve already had one man killed by a driver going too fast in our neighborhood! No more!

I live in the proposed area and do not want safety issues like this near my home.

No drag racing inside city limits. Neighborhood and next to a school sounds like the worst location to be chosen.

Wasn't the original plan for Summit to be extended to meet with Signal out north? Isn't that why there is a stop sign at the end of Stagecoach? I feel like the likelihood of a future street getting built is more probable than a race track. I'm curious what's going to happen when the street is then extended and the racetrack still has not been built? Will we then have our access cut from a main street or are they going to find another neighborhood to move the racing into?

I appreciate the idea. However, not in a residential area.
