The people who live on this side of town should be the ones to approve of this - not individuals who live miles away - this impacts US! No!

Not against drag racing but not on city streets. You never know what can accidentally happen. Is the city ready to accept the responsibility. Need a place other than on city streets to drag race vehicles.

Jason... Just wanted to let you know that everyone signing is aware of all the details, they are very public. I deleted your comment because I have been printing them off to bring to the meeting they are full of alternatives that I would like to share with your side. Also Tim Robinson and I have been having great conversations about how we can all work together because as I and many others have said numerous times, it's not about the racing. You are correct there are not houses directly behind the racing but they are in the immediate area and the neighborhood will be affected. I hope that you can respect my view and create the mind set of working together to make this work for everyone.

Not sure why this would even be considered in city limits.

Reduce property values, safety issues, inappropiate use of tax payer property, will stop people who use this area to walk dogs, children playing, biking on Saturday for those working furing the week, kids currently bike around Stagecoach school and in the parking lot.
Why don't the proposers race in their neighborhood?
Why not at the fair grounds?
How about old 191?

I think there are so many concerns and risks with this, I am very opposed.

I agree with all of the comments above especially prioritizing residential areas and children at play. Another thing to add is the amount of people at any hour of the day that take their dogs walking through the desert across from the houses. Overall, there's too much going on and to many safety risks to have this occur.

I live on Reagan and already have issues if people drag racing at the light. It’s a noise, and safety issue. There are too many irresponsible people in this town to have a race strip so close to residential areas. We need to find a more suitable place away from housing areas, and school zones.

That's what we have race tracks for! I'm all down for racing and having fun, but not at the expense of endangering others in the process.
