This should be changed back to how it was for lower tax bracket dividends as this will cost me and my wife over £4k per year which is not encouraging small business start ups at all and will reduce new business start ups as a result. Keep the 30.6% for higher by all means but the lower amount will punish small business owners

This is totally unjustified as we both paid PAYE & did not take any dividends until we both retired. We are still working and were advised to take dividends after our retirement

Have never seen quite such an un-Tory piece of legislation in my life. If stifling innovation and enthusiasm is the aim, then boy did they manage !

Unfair double taxation - sort out personal service companies and IR35 by writing better legislation

Small businesses are finding it hard enough to survive at present without extra expenditure.

This tax change is unfair to those who have never operated a 'service company' but have built up a portfolio of shares from their already taxed income to provide them with a regular income in later life.

Small businesses are the life blood of this countries economy do not stifle it or hinder it - help it and then we can grown and take on more resource - taxing the small business man is not the answer!

I would expect this kind of money grabbing exercise from a Labour government. This is not what I voted for as a small business owner, working long hours and already paying plenty of taxes. If you need more revenue go after the larger tax dodging overseas based corporations and stop fleecing your core voters. After all we are the life blood of a healthy economy which will benefit everyone!

Just another nail in the coffins of small businesses which the government are claiming to support.

Small businesses need helping not more taxes. More taxes will cause some to fail. So please give them a break!
