This needs reconsideration by government- we have invested all our money into a business and employ people , and work far more hours than most , on average over 60 hours a week!!!

First a Labour Chancellor who removes the tax credit then a Tory one who now erroneously taxes already Franked income - bizarrely ironic - is there a distinction any more?

Small business are necessary for elderly as limited companies working after retirement as there is no insurance cover available for self employed for the risks undertaken. The Small Company is vital. If I withdraw from business the company I support would go down with loss of 20 to 30 employed persons as I alone do the commercial side of the craft business for them.

What is my motivation for continuing to run my business and employ people, when I will now be no better off than the people I employ? Yet still have all the risk, stress, workload, compliance etc of running a business. Corporation tax cuts mean nothing if nobody can access company funds.

Double taxation such as this is a big disincentive for people to set up and grow small businesses

Small business owners work long hours to achieve a profit for the business and the country - most of output goes for export. We are now going to be double taxed while major corporates pay less that I do!

as a very small company we already pay more in corporation tax than some of the large corporations - fair tax across the board please!

This is another stupid tax aimed at businesses that pay vat Ct and suppliers, which in turn runs the economy, surely the tax authoroties can check that companies who don't pay tax or buy anything are where the lost money is - look a rainbow !!!

Why not spend the time getting the tax owed by the big corporates like Starbucks etc rather than penalising us, the small business owners, making it harder to keep motivated and productive!

It's things like this that drive me to think I would be better off claiming benefits than working 60 hours a week trying to earn a living

What happened to encouraging entrepreneurship in this country? The government are shooting themselves in the foot, an incredibly short sighted approach just to fill the treasury coffers. It will end up hurting the UK economy.
