Wetlands are a critical environment that sustains myriad types of plants and wildlife that is the ecological heritage of Connecticut. Once destroyed, it takes dozens if not hundreds of years to rebuild what was lost. Any development that does not respect the local ecology steals from our collective resources and should pay restoration for the damage done

Wetlands are incredibly important for our environment and you’ll build ugly basic houses anyways.

The destruction of natural habitat for short term gains is abhorrent. It’s clear this project’s executors have a blatant disregard for the damage they’re causing in order to line their pockets.

Maybe 75 years ago, this would not have been so shocking; but with all the knowledge gained since then re: the importance of forest conservation and climate change, this is appalling!! "Time is short and the water is rising!"

On several occasions I have seen this property submerged due to high waters. Failure to address this situation could be very destructive to the community.
