Motion M-103 is an affront to democracy and free speech, not to mention that it is intended to solve a non-existent problem.

All races, religions and genders should be treated equally. No citizen should receive privileged status.

creating special rights, privileges or recognition of any one group over another only creates more divisiveness. There is no statistical basis for this term.

We should be able to speak out against a "religion" that promotes killing the infidels, jews and gays, promotes honor killings, child marriages and FGM!

Against the creation of special interest groups when existing laws are there to protect each and every citizen from any social, racial and religious background.

I totally disagree with there being ANY need in this land, to put one Religion above any other. Further, a 'National Day' is far past ANY mandate that was given or supported by the Voter's in Canada.

My traditional freedoms of speech are steadily being eroded systematically by the Lieberals and the lefties. I strongly oppose M - 103.

A phobia is a fear. I am not afraid of Muslims. I simply don't believe or agree with their religion as it isn't just religion but a political ideology I strongly disagree with. If they see fit to have a day of action for Islamophobia, there should be a month of action for all the infidels slaughtered by radical Muslim terrorists.

We already have laws that govern hate crimes equally for everyone. Laws are for fair and equal treatment of all; not special interest groups.

January 29th holds no truth for Canadians to commemorate. No verdict or allegations of a hate crime are present in the Quebec mosque incident. Our elected representatives have demonstrated their inability to think critically by insinuating there is hatred by Canadians needing to be "quelled".

I believe Islamophobia is a made up term for Trudeau's Muslim friends. This day of action is unnecessary & is pandering to one group

There is no need to make special allowances for any one religion.

Totally unfounded excuse for bill M-103, yet another race is getting away with crying for the death of all Christians with no repercussions.

Freedom of speech cannot be artificially curtailed; this opens the door to censorship. Islamophobia is a made up term to shut down any criticism of Islam. It conflates critique of a belief system with bigotry against believers.
