...no one has ever even offered a definitive and conclusive definition of Islam, whether it is religion or ideology, and any attempts to single out an undefined movement for special treatment and recognition are divisive attempts which will Balkanize Canadian society.

Many of us are tired of being insulted and seeing problems "manufactured."

We are completely opposed to a day of action on islamophobia in Canada, and question the government intent.

It has gottten so I feel like a minority in the country of my birth. Why should I have to abide by their rules and they don’t have to abide by the rules of my country

Islamophobia is a false hood and must NEVER be adopted. It is against the charter of fights and freedoms.

Designating a day to 'Islamophobia" is discrimination against Canadian natives and immigrants of other religions.

There is no fear of Islam and any labels placed on criticism of religion is unacceptable in a free society.

Without freedom of speech, violence is the only option. We need to be able to criticize anything including religion without fear of being imprisoned and persecuted. Our founding fathers realized that because they escaped from the Inquisition. So let people be free to criticize whatever they need to criticize and Canada will remain a great country.

Stop this Orwellian doublespeak found in M-103. This favours Muslims over other Canadians. It also creates a precedent for other dissenting vested-interest groups.

Islamophobia is a conveniently made up term to serve the Islam community. It is one step to quell our freedom of thought, speech and religion. I will not give in to them!!

No!!! We do not want or need this "Day of Action on Islamophobia" in Canada, a term the originators of the petition leading to Motion-103 still cannot even define or refuse to define.

The censoring on this petition is ridiculous. Grammar changed and words omitted.

Once again our Liberal government shows preference toward one minority group of Canadians at the cost of all others. We can't be proud of our country until this is stopped!

Canada does not require M 103 We have laws to cover this already , this motion is a political tactic we should REJECT.
