Ideas such as this, although perhaps potentially perceived as positive, has the potential of creating and fostering a prejudice that currently does not exist with the majority of Canadians. I question why a government does not heed studies and/or recommendations being put forward.

I am opposed to any further curtailment of free speech . There are enough safeguards against so called hate speech in place already. We must not submit to every radical demand for special treatment . Enough with the politically correct virtue signalling to get votes from special interest '' victims ''. This is not what our veterans fought and died for. The present government needs to show respect for Canadians at large, not lecture us and expect blind obedience and compliance to their arrogant, self serving political posturing.
