This is betrayal of the gov't mandate to represent ALL Canadians equally. This is also betrayal of FREE SPEECH which generational Canadians have enjoyed and embraced for over 150 years! Shame on you!!!!

Stand up and start working for the Canadian people and stop this type of absolute nonsense. We the people, the Canadian people are sick and tired of your stupidity. ALL OF YOU SHOULD STEP DOWN. You work for the people and you will all be fired soon.

This focus could contribute to a threat to freedom of speech in Canada. W need to condemn systemic racism and religious discrimination in general, no less and no more.

I no longer recognize the Canada I loved. It has drastically changed and I am very ashamed of what we have become, all thanks to the Liberal government. We are going down a very dark path from which there is no return. Why are you quashing our freedom of speech? Stop this brainwashing.

First, the government of Canada should not be legislating against a "phobia". Secondly, the entire premise of this effort is flimsy and unsupported by any evidence. Thirdly, the Heritage Committee's report should be shelved as a biased document that was created to meet a foregone conclusion. The Heritage Committee's process had a superficial appearance of fairness when in fact it was conducted unfairly. Stick to governing, not social engineering.

Why are you signalling out one minority? Efforts against racism should speak to all minorities.

Lets remember this is Canada. All who come here should do there best to assimilate into our society. Yes they can have their own religion but all should be treated equally and this includes born and raised Canadians who seem to be put on the back burner for all the special interest groups. Really!!!!!
