Protect our water resources, there is absolutely no excuse for something like this to be built here.

I am concerned about the water use, pollution and the extra electricity use that will strain the already fragile electric grid and pass electric cost onto consumers. Where is the water use supposed to come from? We’re already under water restrictions. These data centers will not create jobs. They need at most 30 people to run them. The benefits do not outweigh the costs.

According to data from the U.S. Drought Monitor, as of mid-February 2026, Texas is experiencing a significantly more severe and widespread drought compared to February 2025. Over 73% of Texas is in official drought (D1+) with 41% in severe or worse conditions, driven by the 3rd driest and 3rd warmest December on record, creating a multi-year, deepening water crisis.

Please protect our sacred springs. There are other solutions to allow technology and development that works with nature not exploiting it.
It is our duty to steward our natural resources for future generations and for the local creatures that depend on them.

Our waterways are sacred and special. Please do not pollute or diminish our clean water sources for a new technology fad. Protect natural resources, biodiversity and communities from corporate greed.

We do not need a data center in San Marcos. It would disrupt the natural beauty here as well as downriver, and waste so much water that we desperately need to conserve.

Enough is enough. The people don’t want it. We deserve a council that votes for the people not for the developers! Our water resources are already overstressed. Vote No on data centers!!!

Crystal Clear water is already struggling to maintain its water with the extra developments going on. This will NOT be okay or good. San Marcos is already in stage 4 drought and it’s still “winter”.
This is not the place to do it, at all.

Please stop this. These natural resources they consume are far to precious and need to be preserved.

No approval without a specific, detailed analysis of exactly how the power grid and water supply will be impacted and how this resource usage will be mitigated as to not affect current and anticipated future residents.

If crystal clear is supplying the water. They have a hard enough time supplying for what they have now.
