NONE OF US ASKED FOR A DATA CENTER. YOU ARE DESTROYING OUR RIVERS AND MESSING WITH A VERY DELICATE ECOSYSTEM FOR PROFIT. BAD BAD BAD!

Until we get strict government regulations on AI and AI data centers I don’t think any of these buildings should be constructed. If the county promises to grant each resident $50,000-$100,000 if we start losing restrictions to our water then this is NOT something the people of Texas should have to deal with. Grow a spine or give up your seat so real representatives can step in and do your jobs since y’all are highly unqualified.

Water is a huge part of life in San Marcos: as a fundamental resource, a source of tourism, and part of the beauty of the city. Data centers and tech development take advantage of this resource in a place where it is needed by the people of the community and scarce due to drought. We need our officials to prioritize the people of San Marcos and central Texas to protect the water and say no to tech companies

This water is not only sacred but essential to life in many forms. We don’t need data centers, we need water. Protect what is sacred and life giving and say no exploited our resources trying to take them for their own greed.

The construction of this data center will destroy sacred lands and further marginalize native people in this area. Do not construct a data center that destroys and breaks more native treaties
Do not want a data center near our neighborhood!!
Hell no.
