Water is a precious resource and we are in a drought in Texas. Our water needs to be reserved for people, not for big tech companies.

Our changing climate and consistent cycle of droughts necessitate certain decisions are made in terms of water conservation. Allowance of data centers which will take our resources and give little or nothing in return is not advisable, nor will I support any politicians who choose this path. Our communities need to be focused on long term success, not short term profit.

I STRONGLY oppose the introduction of these data centers in central Texas. We have to project our communities and the environment around us!

Don’t pollute the river. Austin is suffering enough as it is with its water and we want to destroy the closest rivers to us? Makes no sense.

No one wants this except money hungry corporations. We want drinking water not AI data centers. If you kill us all with dehydration, we won’t be around to buy into all the BS of these corporations. People over profit NOW!!!!

We are in a critical water situation, and can't afford to suffer from the development of data centers.

If yall turn this into an AI data center yall really are losing your intellectual capacity to think freely. Isn’t that what a college town is for? Thinking creatively with no artificial intelligence.

I am very against this. Our water isn't for this. Our water is for us. For the generation to come. For the animals. This is not what Texas needs.

Under the water conversation plan that is already in place for Travis County, This is a no go. Our water system need to be protected. Our surrounding counties have been drought for the past decade. These plan will effect Travis county and rest our water supply. So NO!!!!!

"A typical, mid-size data center can consume between 1 million and 5 million gallons of water per day for cooling, equivalent to the daily needs of a town with up to 50,000 residents.”

We are in a DROUGHT. Edwards aquifer is already suffering from extreme overpumping. Texas citizens should be put before data centers that bring in hardly any jobs and harm us by huge consumption of energy and resources. Your constituents will remember what is done when they enter the voting booths.

The water table and aquifers cannot sustain the current population growth, let alone mega-water users like large-scale data centers.

It is of utmost importance keep natural resources, especially water in increasingly drought affected regions, public.

17.8 million Texans currently reside in areas of drought. Water is a precious resource, and it's being threatened. Two data centers in San Antonio alone used 463 million gallons of water between 2022 and 2023 and data centers across the state used 50 billion gallons in 2025 with that number expected to rise as more data centers come online. Texas residents are being asked to conserve their individual water use while data centers guzzle it up with zero restrictions. This is not sustainable.
