Dear Elise, We are concerned, due to budget cuts, that we will no longer have access to technical advice and mentors. This threatens and undermines the technical aspect of the education, which also counts for 50% of our final grade. It is vital that we have access to tutoring in Building Technology. We hope that our tutors will continue to remain available to us. We ask the faculty to do everything within its power to maintain our access to this education.

The richness of the faculty lies in the minds of the students and their tutors and not in the vitra collections around the corner. The combination of tutors such as having a BT and a main mentor that provide different perspectives on the same project are only improving the students and their work.

Fundamental need for this to continue, Hubert Van Der Meel not only helped me from a technical perspective, but also hugely enriched the process and the design.

Good technical solutions are an absolute essential for any good design project. Taking away technical education and support goes against everything students are being taught by the university from day one .

A BT tutor was essential to my graduation. Ype really went above and beyond what was necessary for BT.

I think a mentoring in Building Technology is essential for the quality of our graduation projects and our preparation for the labour market. No BT knowledge is undermining our role as architects! Please do not undermine our education!

Unbelievable that we are graduating at a technical university and perhaps are not able to get any "building technological" support for our projects.

Having BT mentors in EX-L is of course essential, though in odred to have good BT results it is important to have good BT mentors, therefor eit is in my opinion better to fight for the improvement of the BT mentor's quality as it unfortunatelly is not the case of all of them.

Please don't cut these funds. This great part of my and other students' education and thus our future..
