It's difficult enough to get onto Highland road from Whitney without adding more problems from the car wash traffic. Why not approve something that would add value to our community instead of just thinking about money for the township

Waterford Township does not need another business that is open 24 hours. Especially backed up to a residence. It seems really unfair to the people that live behind that property. Cars revving, playing loud music at all hours of the night. Also a potential nightly hang out.

There are two car washes on Highland Road within 1.6 miles of the site proposed for this car wash. We don’t need 3 car washes within this short distance.

The Township should consider the watershed.
The Watkins Lakefront Owners Association has spent a great deal of money to establish filters for drains that empty into Watkins Lake. Per the professionals who assess the quality of Watkns Lake the biggest cause of weeds and pollution in our lake is from runoff. WLOA has taken great strides to clean up the discharge into our lake. This is a bad idea to build this in the watershed.

Very bad idea. I think the property could be used for another business which wouldn’t cause as many problems to the neighborhood. Noise, traffic, water issues to our lake. I reject this proposal

Whitney has no side walks. We as residents bike, walk, run and children play in the neighborhood. The increase volume of traffic using Whitney as a cut through cause me grave concern. Our residents will be injured because patron of the car wash will not respect the neighborhood. The only purpose to go down Whitney is the cut through to get back on to M-59 if you are turning left. Has the township completed their due diligence on traffic accidents on M59 within the three mile radius of the proposed sight?

This proposal will create a M-59 traffic nightmare as well as a traffic nightmare for all the people living on S. Shore street. Also the noise factor for the close by residents would be a large nuisance. Another factor is the chemical run off into the lake, everything from this site slopes to the lake downhill.

Very detrimental to those people on the south side of South Shore where there homes and property back up to the water (swamp).

I think the runoff from this proposed business will adversely affect the water quality of Watkins Lake. I also think the traffic on M-59 between 4 PM to 6:30 Pm is extremely heavy making left turns onto M-59 virtually impossible at this time during the week.

Terrible idea and would ruin the community causing unnecessary traffic and environmental concerns for the lake area.
