My rise is 9.3%. This alone takes my whole years increase in my state pension. You greedy lot. Wasting money everywhere.

With the excessive (illegal) rise in council tax this year and their inability to admit they are wrong and have increased the tax above the required amount without a referendum hiding behind the creation of parishes. The majority of Swindon have seen increases of over 10% and social care is reported as a 2% when in fact it is in excess of 100%. They were elected to represent the people of Swindon, not rip them off.

With the council tax rises and the poor effort he gave the residents of Wichelstowe about parking restrictions, then moving us residents to a parish we did not want it's time he stood down.

Completely out of order for SBC to transfer services they are responsible to the parishes who then increase taxes to the public pay for them..... Very underhand way to get around the council tax caps on tax rises.
