No Confidence in C&RT

Fed up with CRT making new rules,changing rules just to suit them.waisting licence money,paying their higher staff ridiculous wages but most of all they don’t like boaters.this incompetent body needs to be totally wiped and start a fresh with people who actually care about the river.

Crt are failing to manage the waterways properly. With silted up canals, insufficient waste bins and working elsan points, leaking padles and keeping on top of the maintenance of the wholes system that makes up our wonderful canal system. The canal system is a national treasure that crt are ruining and failing the very people at the heart of it, The Boaters.

With all the weed & silt in the waterways & the continued breakdown of locks, it’s making it increasingly difficult to navigate the waterways & sometimes makes you wonder why you want to.

Boaters come last on expenditures canals in poor state and over priced fees waited money on contacters who do half a job

With the condition of the waterways getting worse, the lack of trained C&RT trained staff, things will only get much worse in the future. The quicker C&RT realise there is only so much boaters can take & will put up with, the quicker things may change.

CRT continually ignore the wishes of core users which are boaters who are the only people that directly pay into CRT funds as well as indirect through taxes

The latest rebranding fiasco (grammatical mistakes etc.) gives scant attention to boaters. It continues to seem that C&RT puts these last in the line of priorities.

You need to look at where money needs spending if you don't have boaters you won't have any money. Some of the locks are a disgrace.

6.5 million on rebranding, whatca waste of money, plug the leaks and get the work done quicker.

We just need a better management, one that preserves and maintains the network properly, and looks after the needs of the people who pay to use it.

Enough is enough. Act now before all is lost.

We have seen at first hand the continued decline of the waterways over the last few years. It's so very sad to see the decline and selling off of the national treasures that helped make the country a great nation and we really fear for the future of the system if the current miss management is allowed to continue for much longer.

Tired of spendimg hundreds for non payers to ruin the canals. Should i mention anglers and cyclists.

Total lack of integrity by VET waste of money and very poor effort at maintaining a public asset and waste of the public funds it has.

There is a continual stream of stoppages going on maintenance spears to be carried out as and when their is a failure preventative maintenance seems to have go out the window Also navigation and boating appear to now be the bottom of the priorities in CRT agenda WE ARE THE ONLY PAYING CUSTOMERS !

Nobody has confidence in CRT they just line there pockets with money

I agree wholeheartedly with Peter Wainwright's comments. CRT's latest move to rebrand itself as a social 'wellbeing' provider is simply a way to distance the organisation from its original primary function of Navigation Authority. The infrastructure is being ignored and the current policy regarding canal maintenance is clearly failing. CRT being fully aware of this are attempting to reinvent themselves in a role which is totally unquantifiable in terms of effect and is completely irrelevant in terms of their responsibilities as Navigation Authority ! I for one am utterly disgusted and call for both the waterways minister and parliamentary waterways group to act immediately.

team here in stourport spent all day replacing perfectly good signs with exactly the same ones apart from the new logo ..........perhaps they could use the old ones to plug the leaks

Replacing signage with the new branded wrongly spelt signs at a sanitary station that’s been broken for months beggars belief
