CRT clearly have little interest in boaters interests and the upkeep of our network, they have allowed the hire company’s to make big profits without consequence for damages done around the network

Charging extortionate fees and wasting money on new logo rather than spending it on canal network, no confidence in CRT

Gunthorpe facilities are declining. No waste bins as they were being used by non boaters. Easy answer. Put a CRT lock on it, or put a fence around them again with a CRT key lock for access. WIN/WIN. None of this is rocket science, what are we paying our fees for. Also heard (not officially) the toilet and shower block is going to be sold to the cafe for an extension. What do the owners on small boats without facilities going to do now even though they pay for a river licence? Haven’t noticed a decrease in fees? I’m also sure there are some fat salaries being paid at CRT. These are all decisions to cut costs with no thought for the boaters. Shame on you, for this terrible mismanagement!!

CRT are being lobbied by small groups who have their own agenda which does not involve all boaters. They won’t be happy until widebeam are stuck in marina all year and paying disproportionately for the upkeep.

They do seem to be all PR and no substance.

A vote in support of no confidence in C&RT. In light of the continued decline and mismanagement of out inland waters.

I have boated and lived on canals for 19 years and am disgusted at the way they have been neglected since CRT took over despite us boaters being told otherwise. Now more money is being wasted on the new logo and everyone - except boaters - is being encouraged to use the canals! CRT is a disgrace!

Been on canals for 40 years - this the worst move and pointless waste of money by top management of the waterways in all that time

Wide beams today. Narrowboats tomorrow. CRT have there agenda. And no amount of consultations or surveys will dissuade them. To interested in lining there own pockets and egos. We need a detailed account made public on just how it cost 60k to come up with ‘that’ logo

New signage is a complete waste of money that could have been much better spent

I have lost all confidence in CRT ability to manage & maintain the navigation as they appear to now be following their own agenda and not the remit they were originally given.

A bit of honesty and integrity would be nice.

Since its formation, C&RT have consistently proved their incompetence, they've replaced genuine, hard working staff with expensive sub contractors, works are rarely to a satisfactory standard. Canals are being virtually vandalised by the lack of preventative maintenance. Yet the directors constantly find money for new company cars, in house promotions and back handed salary increases. It's long overdue that they were held accountable for their neglect

Directors let alone trustees are jointly and severally liable for the organisation. On that basis are not fulfilling their duties - I have no confidence CRT could organise a party sat on a keg....let alone mange our historic waterways

CRT spent 60k on degrading THATS 60k that could of been spent on the canals. And that's according to there own estimates NOT reality

Tunnel vision on licensing going forward...widebeam paying more yet cannot reach all of the system...how is that fair ?
