The CRT execs are drawing big six figure salaries while overseeing a general decline in the waterways. It’s a tragedy. The waterways are beautiful places with fantastic heritage but are just being allowed to decline after all the good work of the 70s and 80s

Extremely disappointed in management of CRT.
treatment of volunteers is appalling. Executives and some staff paid excessive salaries. Unsure what our licence fee pays for, except their Salaries!!!

They are slow at looking after boaters and will take facilities away with no notice and no replacement. The list is endless for example lack of moorings to lack of loos and showers.

Remember-CRT DO NOT & NEVER WILL OWN THE CANALS. THEY ARE ONLY RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTENANCE & SERVICE WHICH THEY ARE PAID. THE CANALS WERE BUILT FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE. WE ALL HAVE A RIGHT TO LIVE PEACEFULLY IN OUR HOMES & CRT, BEING A CHARITY NOT A CORPORATION, MUST ADHERE TO THE CHARITIES CODE OF CONDUCT. DO NOT FEEL THREATENED OR ACCEPT ANY INJUSTICE.

They really don’t know what they’re doing. Treating boaters as pests doesn’t endear them to the boat owners of the land.

The CRT needs to be replaced with an organisation who embraces all sectors of the boating community and celebrates the rich diversity of boaters and their different lifestyles.

When is the Leeds & Liverpool going to get the maintenance it deserves ?
Nobody listens!! Spends money on new logos but no communication with boaters. Who actually keep the canals viable.

The revenue is being wasted . Fix the canals . The network should be run by boaters .
