I have already signed today, but I am a Brooklyn resident using a cellphone with a (508) area code. I only logged on to test the theory that the area code, cell tower or router location is affecting the resident listing.

Unsettling to hear when I'm getting ready to sign my child up for preschool in the fall.

Apple Computers were amazing when they came out... And then...computers evolved... Kinda the same concept... You have to adapt or become out dated...

It is sad that it has come to this, but this is also long overdue. Like many positions in town, it is time for a new generation of leaders.

Transparency is a key issue in the world today. People want honesty and integrity in their leaders. There is neither with this superintendent. Why is she NEVER available for comment? Why did she initially put angry and concerned parents off when they first wanted to meet with her about the EPIC failure of Move Up Day? (The incompetence of the principal is not to be ignored here) AN 87 years old superintendent?? Not wanting to discriminate about age but just how effective can she be? Looks like things are out of her control, and control of everything seems to be her motos operandi. Has anyone ever questioned the number of principals and special education directors that have been swept aside by the superintendent?? It has to make you wonder. Change is in the wind. This superintendent's public persona is glowing. She has snowed many people, but those who work under her yoke(aside from her sycophants) know her true colors. Her ability to wantonly intimidate and obfuscate have to be stopped. Hopefully for the sake of the kids and educational progress in the community her totalitarian reign is coming to a close.

The Board of Education is trying to help her reach her goal of working till she is 90yrs old. She is 87 so basically they are saying we don't care about the kids or teachers in this system for another 3 years so this women who "used" to be an excellent educator and has now become incapable of many of the tasks needed to run a school district will be able to reach her goal. Way to go BOE. Wake up and realize how much more damage can be done in the next 3 years.

Two FOI requests for the school climate survey results were submitted to the Superintendent & the BOE (one in Aug. 2014 & another in Apr. 2015). Both the BOE & the Superintendent stated the surveys were administrative & not for public information. According to the FOI commission, this is not true. At a BOE meeting earlier this year, parents were asked to submit their concerns in writing & the BOE/Superintendent would respond. In Feb. 2015, a letter was submitted outlining 4 concerns as requested, to date the BOE/Superintendent have not issued a response even when they were asked at a follow up BOE meeting recently.
