Shipping coal overseas to be burned is a step backward in I struggle to alleviate climate change. Doesn’t matter where it’s burned it’s still contributes to global warming gases that are devastating our Earth.

No toxic Cancerous coal trains should ever be allowed in California. Only super poor neighborhoods are being chosen for these trains. How about taking the coal down to Malibu or Hollywood, no you would not think about doing it there. Then why should the already compromised by oil refinery leaks should these American Citizens be intentionally exposed to all the hazardous chemicals so mega wealthy can make more money on the lives of poor people.

Coal, coal producers, and all coal burning operations must cease immediately. It would be far more cost effective for the government to buyout owners and retrain workers for different jobs than to continue with coal. The costs far outweigh the benefits.

These officials that conspired to make this "coal train" a reality should be exposed. The public needs to know who stands for California and who seeks to destroy it for the sake of lining their pockets. Coal? Hell no!

Coal is the past and has no business being exported from our harbors or transported near our rivers and streams. No coal. Not now. Not ever.

A coal train along the NCRA ROW is - aside from being geotechnically infeasible, come on now - a death sentence for the Eel and Russian Rivers. We will fight.
Is this real?
