I say ABSOLUTELY NOT to this awful plan! Stop/Cancel this now! We don't want or need any transport of coal or have anything to do with coal whatsoever!

This is disgraceful, this is corporate/private interest trying to undermine the will of the people and social development, we are in desperate need of a trail like the great redwood trail, we are blessed to live in northern California where the redwoods are and nature is abundant, why not cooperate with our blessing and enjoy what we have? I also believe this trail is good because it will get cyclists off the dangerous backroads risking a deadly accident and away from car traffic into a path that can connect them to other cities that don’t involve a dangerous journey near high speed car traffic on narrow winding hilly roads. The great redwood trail is another opportunity to spend times outdoors with family and for volunteers to learn how to maintain it. And we must preserve the environment for public enjoyment and use.

No more toxic coal that damages our environment and our communities. Move to better alternatives or research to find better alternatives. Railroads are great and effective transport but not to move coal.

No one wants this. We need clean energy world wide. USA cannot be part of this project. It is backwards thinking. We don't need Americans working for low wages in a coal mine.
