No Industrial Chickenhouses in Wicomico County MD Neighborhoods

No need for more stench and environmental pollution.

This is ridiculous, I've lived on this street my entire life and this is not the place for a disaster like this to be built

Mega-farming is NOT the way to go. Our society needs to focus on less waste and smaller portions... not constructing more facilities that engage in environmentally harmful practices and distribute unnatural products.

I live on Adkins rd. near your projected site. Every Semi and every large piece of farm equipt. drives N. West Rd. and Naylor mill and Adkins rd, avoiding the scales for the semis. The county refuses now to properly pave our neighborhood streets, when the streets are cheaply repaired, and being ruined yr after yr. Now u want to bring hundreds more of semi trks., ruin our well, drinking water, and run us out of our homes with the stinch. My vote is NO NO NO Find a spot that doesn't disrupt family s.

Although I no longer live in the area, people I care about do!

Be ok if they put in a railroad spur and shipped the chicken s--t back to Arkansas. What would be done with ??

building chicken houses of this magnitude on top of a major water aquifier does not make any sense whatsoever.

This will be going across the street from our home, and it is extremely disheartening to say the least. We have 3 small children who have respiratory issues that require a nebulizer. When the farmers merely fertilize the fields around us, our children have to have treatments and cannot even go outside to play. How will they be able to live normally with this outside our front door 24 hours a day? All of the contamination that my family will be exposed to is more than I can even comprehend, and I cannot understand how someone could do this to families on this street. It's is simply cruel and uncalled for.

The traffic caused by an industrial chicken facility will badly strain our country roads. The smell and potential viruses will cause health problems among the residences, and the poisoning of the groundwater will be ruinous. With so many open areas without residential areas nearby why would you deliberately destroy peoples' lives?

This is a residential area. An industrial poultry operation, with its attendant traffic and smells, will degrade the value of all the homes surrounding it. There's plenty of open land that isn't right on top of existing homes, and the developer should seek one of those locations. The smell and traffic are health hazards by themselves; add in the millions of tons of poultry manure that will seep into the groundwater and there is a nightmare in the making.

Only if a big 500,000.00 home is being built with it for the chicken farmer to live in
