It's vital to both students and faculty to have breaks in between classes to have time for themselves and their loved ones - psychology majors understand this more than anyone!

I value the chance to integrate everything we've learned and recharge for the next chunk of classes during these breaks.

Please keep the breaks; they will allow us to maintain our motivation and enthusiasm for the program and our classes.

As future counselors, we’re trained to emphasize balance and mental health for others; yet without breaks, our own well-being is compromised. These pauses are not luxuries; they are essential to prevent burnout and allow us to return to our studies focused and ready to serve.

Please don’t take away our breaks. It doesn’t seem like there’s any reason that this would make sense.

Please do not change the MAC calendar. The program is advanced and should allow for consistency. BRING the OLD National University back. The merger with NCU has ruined this school and program reputation.

The 3 week breaks allow for much needed time to reconnect with spouses and kids. Please feel free to contact me if there are significant reasons I may be overlooking which would necessitate the removal of the 3-one week breaks.

Please keep the breaks. They are essential to emotional well-being . I am working full-time, attending classes and am a mother of 3. This woudl severly affect me and my family.

Breaks are important, and I believe their initial integration into the schedule was well understood. However, these recent change proposals will not help me. I hope that any modifications to the program will prioritize the students' benefit rather than adding more challenges to an already demanding schedule.

I fully agree with this petition. I need that time to be with family, loved ones and recharge. I think this decision by NU is not thinking about our self-care and promoting the values that we talk about so deeply and honor with such integrity and care.

Taking away breaks is absolutely ridiculous. We budget money for our program before it starts, then less than halfway through are charged an additional $115/course creating financial burden. And now we may get no breaks to reset and recharge? Our mental well-being doesn't matter? We need our vacation weeks!

I really rely on these breaks to recharge as it is virtually impossible to schedule vacations without missing something important for class. Especially now working full time and having classes Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday night. People need breaks

We need these breaks for our mental health. I remember looking forward to the breaks, recharging and getting back to school after the 9/10 day break

not a fan of changing programs once established to the student body. As a single mother I need things to be consistent, dependable, and trusting. If change is needed, it needs to begin with new incoming students so they know how to plan and consider all aspects of how this accelerated program with weave into their live

Like many of my classmates, I work full time, have kids, and juggle this program along with everything else. Please don't take the breaks away, we need them to keep going and practice the same self-care we'll be encouraging in clients.
