Objection, objection, objection! Would be traffic nightmare, no parking, environmental hazards, endanger marine lives, etc.

We need "green space" not another eyesore or something that blocks the view for people. Everyone has access and can enjoy the view.

Cays resident here. I’d rather not have this charming community turn into a tourist destination with all the noise and traffic that goes with it. It will ruin what makes the Cays unique and turn it into a trashy RV stop at the bottom end of the west coast coastline.

I live in Kingston Village in the Cays facing Grand Caribe (8 years) and I would be heart broken to see the park being misused for someone’s personal gain. We all enjoy the beautiful park and shoreline from walking my dog there daily to my kids swimming over all summer. We boat year round and enjoy sitting on our peaceful balconies. Please preserve the park and leave as is. Thank you.

Please do not add traffic and a resort to the residential community. An RV park already exists.

I strongly oppose this ghastly RV hotel project
which will destroy a natural habitat
and pollute our beautiful Cays .community.

This plan is not in keeping with the residential community.
There is a competing development in Chula Vista completed that is not economically viable.
An RV park is not in the interest of the commuinity.

There is an RV park across the street - Silver Strand State Beach. The open space park at Grand Caribe is a rich resource as it is. Certainly, there is a better use for the proposed RV area including additional park.
The Port should not be able to continue to reduce coastal public access either in the Cays or at the Landing.

This isn't even an RV park. As proposed it is a individual lodging motel complex. It will become party central and a constant annoyance.

Also, I have a concern that the public restroom facility could attract vagrants ( I know of at least one incident of a vagrant sleeping on the beach at Grand Caribe being tokd to leave by police in the past couple of years.

I vehemently oppose this project. It will be devastating to our unique community, our quality of life, and our peaceful residential area. This land grab is purely for profit, and doesn’t give any consideration to the Cays’ way of life. Let’s end these attempts to commercialize our residential area!
