How are the elderly suppose to pay for heating their homes! We already are paying EXTREMELY HIGH TAXES in Vermont. The economy will take a slide backwards, because higher fuel prices will cause people not to travel as much!

Once again, Lawmakers impose a TAX in an attempt to add funds to an already OVERBURDENED tax paying minority in the state. The COST of Fuels has finally dropped in America to a point where some can actually afford it. When the COST of fuel rises again, this TAX will not go away! " Imposing taxes to balance the abusive budget spending of State Offices and Lawmakers is like standing in a bucket and trying to lift it by the handle." Instead, Charge the Fuel Corporations, Exxon, Shell, etc. NOT VENDORS or the PUBLIC to sell their products in the State.

we are drowning in taxes now and a new tax on fuel oil and gasoline ect. is just plain wrong, It will hurt we Vermonters in our wallets and cause more companys to leave the State,Enough is enough no more taxes

No new taxes. Learn to balance the budget and make expenditures match revenue... rather than the business as usual routine of 5% budget increases despite only 2-3% revenue growth.
