Ridiculously expensive. It will affect the average working man and woman so negatively, they will be forced into alternatives such as leaving this state.
The ones that wouldn't consider leaving would adapt, in ways such as reducing their usages. People can only take so much before they find themselves searching for options to counteract such nonsense.

We folks in Vermont pay enough in taxes. How much more to they want? Just look at our pay rate here and how many people work more than 1 job just to get by. No Raise in Social Security?

Give us a break. We can't afford the taxes we have now. You are taxing all of the prominent people and they are moving out. The people moving in have nothing and suck off the system. All of you people need to have an expat of your head to see if a brain does in fact reside there.

The sad part is that the sponsors must all believe in global warming and thereby believe that this tax will do something to help.
Vermont is 1/120,000 of the global population. What we do can't be measured by the best instruments.
What will be measured is the economic impact on Vermonters.
We just went through a period of high gas prices and now these idiots wants to push it right back up there.
In addition you will put those gas stations along our borders out of business. You will force people into alternatives which in terms of carbon might be worse.
You people are just plain dumb and should be removed from office for going against the well being of Vermonters.
