Please do not pass this. I will be unable to live in Vermont with the in tease in taxes. I am a middle class citizen who has watched this state decline economically by continuing to tax the middle class. Why do you want to penalize the people who make the largest contribution to this state?

The working people cannot afford this. The state needs to reform welfare and stop telling people that sign up that they will get more if they are not working. It's time to help those that help themselves not those that do nothing.

I can neither afford to change my fuel source, or pay this tax born out of pure disregard for all Vermonters. It is not bad for Vermonters to continue to heat their homes or run their factories, at a level that they can afford!

People and businesses are already leaving Vermont from high taxes. Think twice about raising taxes or it will become a big economic problem in Vermont.
