No Assurance in Asurion

I was told there would be a $30 deductable for a cracked screen, but they want $275 and my $900 phone so they can sell it to some other person they swindled

What they advertise versus what they cover is misleading. Extremely displeased with this company and will never purchase another protection plan through them ever again.

currently on my 4th replacement phone and they don't understand why I'm unhappy to receive a 5th phone that does not function

How about how they say there is no screen available so they want to replace phone instead and charge 199. Instead of 30. And they don't tell u any of this info when I purchase the phone.

Charged for S6 they fraudulently sent an A6. First they claimed we sent in phone not covered. We had to prove it was the phone that we paid coverage for. Asurion has no intention of backing their policy.

My phone operated from Aug 2018 until March 2019 after having been dropped and the bezel cracked. I reported the problem to Asurion when the phone failed to turn on one morning. The customer service person submitted the claim as a repair for not functioning. The date of the drop and the claim varied so much that Asurion needed to call me and ask me about it. The Asurion representative changed the cause from 'physical damage' to a malfunction. I received my phone back without having been repaired. The problem and service descriptions were stated as "Other - Dropped/hit on hard surface'. The "Depot Triage & Failure Summary" was blank. The obvious conclusion is that the problem was not diagnosed. The phone was not tested with the cracked bezel removed. There was no attempt made to repair the phone. The failure was blamed on the cracked screen with no evidence. I see the lack of analysis of the problem as just more evidence of the greed and unfair treatment by Asurion.

couldn’t get my screen replaced due to a “shortage” ... this happend 3 times in a 2 yr period where there was a shortage and needed to get total replacement from $50 for repair to $200 replacement. THEY NEVER INTENDED TO SUPPLY REPLACEMENT DISPLAY/SCREEN that is a bait and switch

Denied my claim and left me with a huge debt and i payed insurance every month assurion scammed me

They have to be held to a standard when we're paying all of this money

Please someone take this suit. they always try to get out of replacing the phones. they still make money after the deductible. and now i need to sign an affidavit? i dont have a problem signing. but im traveling and it must be printed off. just more hoops to jump through. i feel verizon can be named as well. Since they refuse to constantly deal with faulty phones. they want you to file a claim. just go into any store and complain about a defective phone thats only a couple months old.

They wont replace my device!! They told me to call at&t.. i did now at&t told me to call them.. nasty circle

Asurion has sent me multiple phones with FAKE Apple parts on it, therefore voiding the phone as an authentic Apple phone, yet Verizon still charges me for an iPhone.

They stole $150 from me.

They sent me a phone that did not work!! After days & numerous hours on phone with them they sent me another phone that did not work!!!! I have been paying for insurance for years for no reason!! this company is a scam!

I have had to have Asurion send three replacement phones after I cracked my original, so 4 phones in less than a year. All three phones were refurbished, and within 1-2 months stopped working properly. Two that the audio piece stopped working, and one that if the battery died all of the way it would not accept a corded charge. It would say that I had water in the port(S8 supposedly water resistant, and I NEVER got it wet!!!). The only way to get it going again was to charge through a wireless charging pad and then restart it. This is rediclous!!!

I bought the 2 year insurance for my 60.00 Samsung J3 Luna Pro, i loved that phone, and was upset when the screen broke, I was told to choose from 3 phones, NOT of my same make, or model... can you believe they had a choice of a ZTE?!! those are terrible, all the phone choices were valued 30 dollars less, and do not perform the same as my original product. Had i known ahead of time, i would not have wasted money buying the stupid phone insurance! Shame on you Asurion, for swindling me out of what i thought was a 2 year replacement coverage, you lied!!

Samsung Galaxy S8 never received. Never given old phone back and never given new phone. Scammed out of phone before paid off.
