I believe that this insurance company is breaking ca insurance code of ethical business practices by not allowing the replacement of broken screens on the Samsung note 8, no discussion about deductible, just NO we don't repair or replace that phone screen. I intend to file a complaint with the state insurance commissioner. I hope this signature helps

There is a monopoly between Assurion and all major carriers. There is no policy dec page provided to customers explaining the deductibles, coverage, coverage exclusions, etc. Major Cellular Carriers do not provide consumers with any other company. There's no competition in this specific Insurance Niche. Every State has an insurance Dept that regulates insurance companies. The high out of pocket deductibles are not justified by the product value. They are charging consumers only 50% of the cost of a leased equipment. There are legal grounds here for a class action lawsuit and for legislative change to Regulate this insurance Niche to ensure consumers are being protected.

Asurion is also selling coverage for other electronic items such as drones and have written misleading policies. They will cover the less expensive parts and state that they will only cover the drone if there is no damage. This petition should include Walmart in it as they are misleading consumers.

How can they offer screen replacement when I purchased my iPhone 8+ and then when I need a screen fixed they deny, deny, deny any "availability" of screens ONLY at the billing address area? This is misleading and fraudulent.

I bought a lawn mower from walmart with a 3 year warranty in 2016. The wheel just broke out of the mower deck. So i went to walmart , and they said asurion would handle it. So i did all the steps, and they said no problem, that i was covered. So i was trying to find the SR# to track my claim, but could find that number. I called them, and they said it was walmarts problem. Basically telling me to f off. So i realized they were just a big scam. Promising people warranty, taking money, and never horoing their commitent.

Please place this on change.org I've been ripped of multiple times from Asurion, twice in recent weeks. Elevate this and spread the word. We must begin the class action lawsuit.

I've had my phone replaced at least 3 times this year, each replaced with a malfunctioning phone

I am on my 3rd Assurion backed IPhone after my IPhone 6 with a new discounted replacement battery (the Apple IPhone battery scam is another story) was installed and the phone simply stopped working. Replacement phone #1 wouldn't hold a charge and I called Assurion to see if the replacement phone had a new battery or the old, degraded variety. Replacement phone #2 was very entertaining. The keyboard would simply take off typing -- mostly the letter "b" without my even touching the screen. Replacement phone #3 is a refurbished IPhone 7. I will keep this site posted.

I paid for insurance for 34 months before my iPhone 6+ screen started having problems 2/2/18. Never dropped it and it has no damage. I was charged $112 deductible. Asurion sent 4 defective replacement phones, actually “upgrading” me to a 128gb iphone 7 as replacement #3, “for my trouble.” When callers said I sounded like I was under water when talking on the iPhone 7, I called Asurion AGAIN. They quickly downgraded me with an iPhone 6+ 64gb the next day. Replacement iPhone #4 was working but getting very hot so I was concerned about the 12-mo Warranty. Would I have to pay another $112 for another crappy refurbished iPhone? Claudia talked me into a 5th replacement and also said she would snail mail the Warranty info. I recorded our call so I went back to listen, a week later, to see if I misunderstood that I was to receive another replacement. I returned iPhone replacement #4 on 3/13/18 and, after not seeing a refund of the $112 nor any email acknowledging receipt of the defective iPhone. I called today 3/23/18 and demanded a refund of my $305 in premiums, and the $112. Both AT&T and Asurion point fingers at each other as having the responsibility to refund the insurance premiums.

They send refurbished phones and so far the replacements I got have been worst than my original phone.
