I have been with Sprint since 2000. They sell this insurance like it will take care of any lost or damage issue immediately with no hassles. Instead you get a high deductable plus you have to wait for your claim to be verified. Asurion can't explain what verification entails other than a licensed adjuster will look at the claim. Seriously, what is there to verify. You have a phone that you are paying them to insure. In my case they want $225 but I still have to wait for them to verify my claim before they will do anything. $225 is about the third of the cost of my phone new. Imagine if you car insurance worked this way

Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile and Asurion have all been excessively shady in their handling of my claims and have put me out of considerable amounts of money as a result. Burn these crooks down.

Been with sprint since 2006. five lines on the account only 2 or 3 claims becuase of damage. My phones get stolen while on a delivery for work because of someone going into my vehicle while on delivery. They want to charge me $225 dollars for one phone and 275 for another. Totaling $500 dollars, very terrible! Plus, I just paid them both off of their lease. With insurance on 5 lines averaging $10 a year and now peaking at $15 . Thats a7k over that span. Car deductible 1.5% of total cost and phones 22-25%. This is a sham and needs to be exposed.

I have been an AT&T customer paying for insurance on our devices for over 15 years. I needed a cracked screen on a tablet replaced and was told it would not be covered because it had a phone number associated with it

Its been 13 days for my next day replacement. They have had me jumping thru hoops. One thing after another.and ongoing. Hours on the phone appears they start a new claim every time someone talks to me because the claim number keeps changing. Had a replacement from them before and got it next day. My phone isn't even a flagship phone. What is more,I am a disabled senior citizen. I need my phone its my only means of communication. This company is not providing the service which has been paid for and needs to be held accountable as do each adjustors who does not approve the claim timely. They should not claim next day replacement unless next daynis when it is received.

They say the offer 29.99 screen repair but I cracked my screen and they tell me my device is not eligible for the screen repair and the only option is to pay 75 dollars for another phone when the phone itself cost 50 dollars brand new this company is a big scam and is ripping people off

My $800 Samsung Note 5 that I have been paying Sprint $10 to $15 per month for insurance for the past 4 years stopped working normally since TMobile took over Sprint in 4 to 5 months ago. I've spent 20-hrs or more on the phone and visiting Sprint/TMobile tech centers without slowness and connectivity issue being resolved. When I had an accident I could not even contact 911 and if I was needed it for work 24/7 . I they want me to pay $200 to replace it with a $250 valued Samsung S8. Given I have paid over $2000 for insurance and $800 for the phone and $1000's for service I think I deserve a newer model or equivalent phone. This insurance borders on fraud and the consumer is forced or tricked into paying for insurance that doesn't satisfie the situation. My main issue is my Note 5 does not work reliably in the T-Mobile system.

Yes I have been with Sprint for almost 17 years and had Ausrion and always had to pay a high deductible and get refurbished phones that don’t work right and it’s unfair

I'm getting nowhere with this people been on the phone for 2 and 3 hours waiting then they hang-up, I been paying insurance for 8 years and I drop the phone on 12/8 the phone was not working so I took the chip out and install it on my old phone in order to make the call they will not honor the my new model phone, because when I call the chip was on the old phone so now I'm getting a older model for $150 deductible. this guys are bad

Going on 3 Weeks, which my husband and I took turns dealing with the BS everyday spending 2 hrs not getting anywhere. Passing me back and forth amongst agents with them and Verizon. They can’t even get the dates or devices right. I used the same device for an entire yr but they came they can’t see my phone and have a different date than Verizon that the device shows broke. Complete scam! We spend $600-800 paying $45 a month in Ins and I can’t get the one time in need to get phone repaired. Still after Verizon corrected it they still say they don’t see the update even after all parties were in on the call Now it’s week 3 still no phone replacement and wait they tried to say I might have to pay for an upgrade . Heck no! I have paid my dues and I want my phone.This is a monopoly played to call carriers and enough is enough.It’s a SCAM!
