I've owned a successful business downtown for 8 years, in addition to living on Main for several years in different locations. Implementing 3 hour parking will only aggravate the problem.
We need a solution, that benefits our entire town. Putting a privately owned corporation in charge of our parking issues. Is not a solution either. let's work together to keep out town thriving.

Anything that affects BR affects metro BR and Fannin County. Solve the problem sensibly with a well-grounded strategy, do not aggravate it at a very high cost.

I have seen people park where it says not to....add more parking. Don't kill the tourism or you will kill BR.

I think this law would damage both local residents and visiting guests to BR. I hope another plan can be implemented.

Asking our visitors to stop spending money with us after 2-3 hours makes zero sense. There are other solutions to this issue. Blue Ridge is friendly and we love our visitors!

I work down town and this would be an issue for me and my coworkers as we work for 12 hours at a time sometimes.

I'm not a citizen of BR but we do own a cabin in the area. One of our favorite things to do when we have friends and family visit is to browse, eat and shop downtown. I would hate to have to remember to keep up with a 3 hour parking time limit while doing so. This is just ridiculous and I'm highly against it.

I am a Fannin resident and if I am downtown with friends having dinner or hanging out, I do not want to be interrupted to go back and move my vehicle. How will this be monitored anyways? How do you know the same car is in the same space? How far away do I have to drive to park again? Ridiculous!!!

Our businesses will suffer with this 2-3 hour parking limit. All the great things we have all spent all our money on, expanding our businesses, will dwindle away. Unemployment will go up, tax $$ to the city and county will go down and some business will end up going bankrupt. Please do not implement this.

We've already seen a reduction in parking spaces with the new East Main St renovation. Limiting parking is only going to further erode the parking situation for visitors. Where is a rider of the train to park? I'd like to know how you all think this would be an improvement.
