As the president of the us of a, I command you to not change the dress code or we will start a war with england which may lead to world war 3. You've already left the EU and now this.. This is just ridiculous. I've got a red button here by my desk in the white house that will destroy the uk and I'm following this to see the results. The day you decide to get a smart dress code my friend... I will not hesitate to press it. You've been warned.

You can't try and force sixth form students to conform to a dress code after 11 years of uniform. This is a time for learning in a freer environment, beginning to question the norm of subjects, and experimenting with knowledge, leading to a higher level of understanding. A dress code is to restrictive to allow for that freedom

I will have two sons in sixth form, the late notice and expense of new work style clothing will be immense for us as a family. We have already been through one uniform change with NLS for both our boys incurring extra expense as a family. We are both hardworking parents, working full-time to save money so our boys can go to university which NLS rightly encourage. I am very annoyed at having to incur this extra expense at an already financially challenged time. I suspect that a few students who perhaps through fashion, are merely expressing their identities as fledgling adults and would suggest that the school take a firmer hand with those students rather than punish all students and their families in this way. I am sure it won't be prospective employers or universities pushing this "late in the day" and ill-informed change. I am extremely angry at the lack of notification and cowardice used by the school to make the announcement, via the website and issuing a letter the before a sixth form induction morning.
