I’m a widow and feel law abiding citizens of New Jersey should have the right to conceal carry for our protection due to the circumstances of our current world affairs. Please.

The honest citizens should have to right to carry. The criminals do it without concern and whT recourse to we the law abiding citizens to defend ourselves. So many other states allow their citizens to carry why not us. Considering the amount of tax that we pay in NJ. They owe us

It’s a shame that we the law abiding citizens of New Jersey who are always getting the short end of the stick and are always the one they (politians) look at to bail out New Jersey’s politians with all the tax hikes on all they seem fit to tax to get more revenue out of new jerseyians to fix their own mess that they put US in then they have the nerve to tell us that are constitutional right to bare arms is not a right or deny us of due process but we still go through the proper procedures like filing applications with our local police Dept , state police for (background checks mental background check etc...)all the fees related to do such and not to mention the individual training and fees to do right to be legal law abiding citizens . It’s just not right or fair that they keep taking and taking from us and do not give back an inch SELF DEFENSE is a justifiable need in itself in the good ole state of New Jersey but let the criminals have all their guns and numerous amount of ammo with large capacity mags I will still continue to do all the right things with the hopes that we will soon be a ccw state with our rights to bare arms and protect me and my family and property fingers crossed

I am one who believes that if we were more of a carry state, that would help deter criminals from acting as part due to a fear the victim may be armed.
If you pass the background check and class, let us Law abiding citizens help protect ourselves and family as well as our community.

NJ Democratic Party you should let the voters do a referendum mandate to vote on this. Let us decide what is good and not good for us. I believe our founding fathers already decided this once before.
