NJ RESIDENTS AGAINST SPEACIAL AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE POLICY

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS PETITION IT IS UNFAIR TO NORMAL POLICY HOLDERS AS THIS INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER DAMAGES FORCING YOU TO USE YOUR OWN POLICY TO COVER DAMAFES THAT YOU DIDNT MAKE.. IN TURN IF YOU HIT ONE IF THESE DRIVERS THEY ARE ALLOWED TO SUE YOU FOR DAMAGES. WHILE THEY ARE NOT HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES THAT THEY CAUSE.I F YOU CANT AFFORD A POLICY THEN YOU SHOULD CONSIDER USING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION UNTIL YOU CAN.. THIS IS THE SOLE REASON WHY OUR RATES ARE SO HIGH. IT IS UNFAIR FOR US TO HAVE TO CHOOSE MORE COVERAGE FOR NO / UNDER INSURED DRIVERS WHICH DRIVE UP THE COST OF OUR POLICIES

We were also hit by a SAIP. Damage to our vehicle - loss of vehicle for work for several weeks. New Jersey residents should be treated better. This legislation is a disgrace.

its ridiculous that a 17 year old with 2 accidents or 10 accidents can still be qualified for NJSAIP because they are on Medicaid. This is unbelievable. People insure up to 10 cars on this and the state does absolutely nothing about it!!!!!

JUST HAD MY BRAND NEW CAR TOTALED WHEN I WAS REAR ENDED BY A DRIVER CARRYING SAIP INSURANCE. NOW I LOST A VEHICLE AND HAVE TO ADJUST MY LIFESTYLE ALL BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT HAVE INSURANCE!!!! THEY DID NOT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING MY INSURANCE PAID EVERYTHING!!!!!!!

Saw this surcharge on my bill. What a joke. How about capping what insurance companies can charge everyone instead of just a select few. Or at least make the majority of what we pay refundable if I have no accidents, claims, or tickets come renewal time. All I've been seeing is increases without valid cause.

It is unbelievable to me that this available when the law so clearly states what coverage is required to drive in NJ. Do not understand how it ever passed.

Saip is a scam people get away with it even at fault and it was set for poor people who can't afford a car to go to work just use public transportation

This is the craziest law that I have ever heard of. The victims are out money from their own pocket, the at fault driver is free and clear and will not get a ticket because they carry an insurance card that is worthless and the insurance company is making money for a bogus policy. Thank you New Jersey.

Mary, you're right, this is inequality. The rules for insurance that protects property or the heath of others only applies to us.

Another cost passed on to middle-class. My car was hit from behind and the other driver was found at fault, yet I had to file a claim through my insurance and pay the deductible because they were hiding behind this ridiculous policy. Political pandering at its finest.

I support the repeal of the SAIP policy altogether, or replace it with mandatory Liability coverage of atleast $50000, to account for most vehicles on the road.

This is a joke i was rear ended and had to pay out of my pocket ,what's it going to take to eliminate this,when people start losing lives.

Same happened to me, Laws is made for every body. This is unfair.

SAIP is disgraceful. It protects NO ONE; the only people who make out are the insurance companies who sells it. My sister's is out thousands of dollars and her insurance went up. If you can't afford proper insurance you can't afford to drive!!! TAKE THE BUS!!!
